Although I'm relatively new to Kraak & Smaak, the clever trio from the Netherlands have very quickly become my favourite electronic funk producers. Although their second album, Plastic People sold 80,000 copies in the U.S. they have really started becoming more and more popular over the last year, playing at massive U.S. festivals like Coachella and Ultra Music Festival. Their latest album, Electric Hustle has put them on not just American College radio networks, but also mainstream radio which has only been working wonders for the trio. This European powerhouse of funk and bass is clearly working, tracks like Summer Runnin', and their latest remix of Solomun's Cloud Dancer are included in my favourites.
