There is absolutely no doubt that Madeon is the most talented young producer out there. The 18 year old producer from Nantes, France is the artist I get most excited for when a new track is released. He stands by quality over quantity which builds up so much suspense when he releases a new track. His first big release was a remix for Deadmau5 of Raise Your Weapon, which certainly turned a few heads. Madeon's next big hit was his Pop Culture mashup which is arguably the best mashup ever, in my opinion. Not to mention he did the whole thing live, and only using a Novation Launchpad and Ableton Live. After he posted that video on YouTube Madeon's social networking pages exploded and even though he's legally not old enough to get in, he's been playing at huge festivals like Coachella. He quickly refined his feel good sound and released Icarus which is his best original track. Along the way he did a remix for Martin Solveig's The Night Out which again displayed his unique, easy going, feel good sound. Shortly after giving us a teaser for Finale, he did a mini mix for BBC Radio, which took over 70 tracks and mashed it all together into 5 minutes. When Finale was officially dropped last Sunday I was over the moon. There is not a single negative thing to say about Madeon's work and his latest track only goes to reinforce his already notable reputation. If one thing is true, Madeon is going to go so far and I can't wait to hear what he's got for us next.
Enjoy,
