Saturday Spotlight #10- Dada Life

This weeks spotlight is on Dada Life, after having released their epic single this past Monday I thought they were more than deserving. Make sure to read the full post to see their new single, including two remixes and a music video!

Dada Life are my favourite duo out there. Their epic electro bangers are absolutely bananas. The crazy Swedish duo consists of Olle Corneer and Stefan Engblom. In 2010 they were ranked 89 on the DJ Mag Top 100 and last year they were ranked 38. Every track they have released has been a huge success. Kick Out The Epic Motherf***er, White Noise/Red Meat, Rolling Stones T-Shirt, Happy Violence, and the most recent, Feed The Dada, not to mention remixes for Kaskade and Duck Sauce. The album they're is a huge milestone for them as it has been in the works for over a year and we've gotten teasers here and there via their YouTube series documenting the making of their album. Dada Life also have a really cool plugin called the Sausage Fattener which can add some serious game to a track. Coming off the release of a massive new single, the duo are  touring this fall across North America and while they are playing a show in Toronto, it breaks my heart that its a 19+ show. Be sure to check if they'll be swinging by your city and grab some tickets! Make sure to scroll down all the way and check out the album review.

Dada Life philosophy:
"Destroy dance music and have fun. Don't look back in the past. Always go forward. Don't think too much. Always follow the money. Do the Dada."

I've been posting a ton of stuff on Dada Life's new single, Feed The Dada so check it all out below.

First up is the single itself. I swear each single is more bangin' than the previous, harder than the previous, and all around better than the last. Feed The Dada is no different. This epic electro house banger builds up and at the drop it explodes in a massive drop and becomes an all out rager. Be sure to grab the single on Beatport.
Enjoy,

Shortly after the single dropped yesterday morning, we got an epic remix of the track from Dice Motion and this is an epic dubstep remix of the track. While I'm not a big fan of dubstep remixes this one I really enjoyed. The main thing I hate about dubstep remixes is when they're of a track that already is dubstep! Anyway, that doesn't apply here as the original track was electro house. Give the remix a listen and while there is no download or purchase yet, I'm sure it'll be on a remix EP soon.
Enjoy,

The second remix here I posted the preview for last week so we already have a little taste of it, but here's the full version of Dyro's remix. The remix adds a new spin on the electro house banger.
Enjoy,

Now on to the video, Dada Life's past videos have been a little on the odd side, and I'm mainly referring to their video for Rolling Stones T-Shirt. However this video while it doesn't tell a love story or anything of the sort, it keeps it simple and showcases the true power of EDM, the power to make you want to jump up and down and rage hard, which is a big part of anything to do Dada Life. The video suits Dada Life and that's what I love about it. It still has some good old Dada Life humour involving feeding the crazy duo bananas. This is the reason I love Dada Life, right here. Whenever I feel the need to listen to a banger or rage, the name I go to is Dada Life. This video is bound to keep the catchy lyrics stuck in your head, so come on feed the da da da da da!
Enjoy,
